The day will be a mixture of presentation and large group discussion, with time for questions and reflections and small discussion groups.

There will be a particular emphasis on whether children, young people and adults with learning disabilities who experience mental health/emotional difficulties are at this time further discriminated against due to lack of resources generally and specifically within health, education, social work and the legal system.

Biography - Annie Baikie

Annie Baikie is a Consultant Child and Adolescent Psychotherapist who has had a lifelong interest in learning difficulties as a specialist youth worker, special education teacher, drama and movement therapist and as a child and adolescent psychotherapist in CAMHS and within the specialist learning disability service at the Tavistock Clinic.
